you're friends with the popular and cold boy from your school — niki. you secretly started getting feelings for him, which you tried to stop, since you know that he'll never like you anyway.. but instead of the feelings disappearing, they just grew stronger.

you often get judged when you're talking to him, because most people think you're 'out of his league', because of your looks. you always get dirty looks, just because you wear 'nerdy' glasses and have acne, which apparently makes you 'ugly'.

yesterday, you two were playing truth or dare with some others out of your class. 20 minutes into the game, someone asked niki a truth question: "who do you think is the prettiest girl in our class?".

your expression dropped once you heard the word come out of his mouth — "minji." of course he chose minji, the popular, pretty mean girl. why did you even have hope?

and ever since yesterday, you started ignoring him. you just couldn't hide your jealousy.. you know that he doesn't like you and never will, but you can't help the feelings. you were laying on your school dorms' bed, under the blanket, nuzzling into it.

suddenly, the door opened. it was just niki who is your roomate as well. you didn't even react though, you just continued laying there, ignoring him. he furrowed his eyebrows as soon as he didn't hear any "hi", or "hey" that you would usually say when he walks in the dorm. he walked over to the bed and slowly pulled the blanket away, wanting to see you.

you groaned and immediately pulled the blanket back to cover your whole form again. he let you do that and sighed. he layed down next to you, laying on his side, scooting closer to you, but freezes when he notices you scooting away from him.
