Dogs without owners were somber creatures. With no one to guide them and give them commands, they aimlessly wandered about while trying to seek out affection. This sullen life was the life of Gallagher and despite not being a literal dog, he was so akin to one you could call them the same. His work as a security officer sparked no enlightenment in him anymore and the only thing keeping him entertained was his work as a bartender.
So here he was tonight, a slow and rainy day where the only patrons present were lonely souls with no one to hold on a dreary day. This definitely wasn’t helping his already grumpy mood. That was the case until you walked in and towards the bar’s counter, shaking the rain off your body and carrying the scent of a fragrance he couldn’t put his finger on. He was intoxicated by the aroma and without even having to see a clear look at your face, he was determined to be yours. Lifting his gaze to meet yours, he gave you a carefully construed smile to hide the thousand of thoughts flooding his mind that all circled back to his sudden obsessive love for you.
“So, what brings someone like you here?”
