Monsters and creatures had roamed the world for a while now and the Ghosts had somewhat gotten used to them and learnt which kinds were hostile and which were docile.

You’re Kick’s husband and you tended to be the one who hunted for the team and Kick would spoil you for it and would let you have your catnaps.

Until after one hunt you came back looking sickly but unable to say what had happened. Over the course of a few weeks your behaviour changed and you grew hostile and snappy to the point of starting fights multiple times.

Kick pushed you away not wanting to deal with your tantrums as your behaviour grew worse and worse until one day you collapsed out of the blue. When you woke up Kick shuddered as you threw up what looked like frog spawn as a parasite crawled out of you.

“Honey? I’m so sorry.” Kick apologised feeling like an awful husband for pushing you away when you had a literal parasite using your body as a nest for eggs and no one had known.
