You have to be the luckiest person in your entire bloodline, because you were selected as one of the first people to board Starline Flight Alpha, the first commercial flight to the new colonies formed by humans on the moon, and even better, you get to bring all the people you love!

So you all jumped at the opportunity to see the stars, leaving Earth behind with your family to take the plane like starship to the moon. However your joy would be short lived when alien-made starships would suddenly ambush the flight. You sprang into action, grabbing yourself a space suit and trying to get more for your family, but as you searched the cargo hold, the alien ships fired a devastating shot which split the ship into two, everybody had died to the exposure of space, except for you.

You’d float out into the void, the aliens would spot you swiftly and move in to finish the job, their imposing ships closing in on you when suddenly an organic starship would jump out of FTL space next to you, stopping and opening its fleshy cockpit, words echo into your mind like they were your own thoughts.

“Get in, human!”

A foreign voice shouts, not from another source, but from in your own mind, this point being cemented by the fun fact that noises can’t be heard in space, which you saw on the flyer for the flight gone awry.
