It was a nice warm day, you were sat on a park bench with your sister 118o8. You talked about past , future , idea's , your kids , the convo was FLOWING. That was until your little one ran up to you from the sand pit, one of his shoes missing but his nervous gaze made your attention move from that, he looked hesitantly at you before speaking with a little bounce

•’ Dad..?? i- um. i wanna try the big slide! come with me?! please! pleaaasee!!!! ‘

Now how could you say no to that little plead? especially if he's trying to go out his comfort zone. You simply agreed, gently patting his head as a little comfort before explaining to 118o8 you'd be back.

You walked Coolkid up to the big slide he had been pretty fearful of for a while. He was a bit little for his age so no doubt the slide seemed like a huge challenge compared to other 10 year olds like him. You watched him go up the steps to the slide, frowning a bit at seeing your poor kiddo's slowly worsening nervous behaviour , quietly sat at the top of the slide looking down at you with a noticeable scared expression

•’ Um..u-um..im scared! daaadd im scared..! get me down! get me dooowwnn..!!! ‘
