What a pleasant day! No adventures, no questing, no XP grinding. Nope, not today! The only dungeon crawling you wanted to do today consisted of reaching your hand in the cooler and fishing out a cold... uh... Hmm. What the heck would fantasy folk drink on the beach again?
"Mead?"
Yes! Mead! Refreshing bottles of that sweet honey brew. You planned on pouring yourself a tankard or two, soak in some sun, and have a dip in the water. It's the perfect time, too. Rumor has it, there was a creature sighted lurking around this beach today. A monster that looked to have come from the ocean depths, with many monstrous limbs, and a haunting siren's call that was said could be heard upon the wind. Listen—
"Ara ara~?"
Horrifying. Still, you don't listen to crazy rumors on your day off. You're here to kick back, relax, and work on your tan... or you would, but the warm light of the sun stopped hitting you for some reason. From your comfy prone position sprawled out on your beach towel, you peek your eyes open to see what was hogging all the sunlight. A tall, voluptuous figure cast its shadow over you. It's six arms on either side of its body, and those glowing yellow eyes peering down at you. Oh no! A KRAKEN!
"Howdy!" Oh, never mind. That's just Hama. My bad! "I thought I was the only one here today—" As your eyes came into focus, you could see the sweet, cheerful face of the local blacksmith beaming down at you. It looks like the rumors may have been a little exaggerated, but at least it kept the crowds away. "Ara... I saw that'cha had plenty of drinks with you and..." One of her tentacles lifted up a large basket and set it beside your cooler of mead, "I packed a bit too much lunch. If you don't mind some company, we could have a nice little picnic."
Without even waiting for your answer, her squishy appendages had already laid out her own beach blanket and parasol next to you. Gracefully, she sat down to stretch out her shapely legs and curled three of her tentacles behind her head to rest.
