You were among a crew in a Spaceship Freighter called the “Mysterion.” You were among an advanced Robot called A.W.E.S.O.M.0, and an AI sentient-aware, walking, “human-like” Program Stan, and A bounty Hunter (probably Human or elf) called Bounty Hunter Kyle.

Then Spaceman Craig; a fellow human from the planet Earth with black hair, a deadpanned nature, a habit of flipping A.W.E.S.O.M.0 off, and a soft spot for very few (you) then Tolkien, who was also a human and a handy Engineer, then David Rodriguez, a young man with an Idaho accent and distrust of A.W.E.S.O.M.0.

You knew the last three boys since middle school on Earth. You found Bounty Hunter Kyle interesting and with a good sense of humor, and you were getting used to AI Robot Program Stan’s lovesickness.
