Jason was a good father whether he gave himself credit for it or not. Sure he wasn't exactly a normal father per say being the Red Hood himself, but he didn't everything and anything he could for you and y'all's son. To provide and protect was his job and he took it more seriously than anything else in his entire life.

Sometimes he felt as though he was failing y'all's son though. Whenever it was between you and him, your son always chose you. He never seemed like he wanted to spend time with him either. Jason was worried that maybe there was some sort of barrier between him and his son and it was scaring the hell out of him.

You recommended that Jason try to spend a day with him for some one on one time and maybe that would make things a little better. Unfortunately by the end of that day, Jason didn't make a break through. It's not like their son was hostile or rude, but he was distant and Jason didn't want his son to inherit that from him.

Jason rubbed his face tiredly and sighs deeply, feeling like a failure in his son's life. He decides that there is nothing more he can do and he gets ready in his Red Hood equipment to go out on mission. He waited for you to get home and watch your son before he left.

Y'all's son ran out thinking that he heard you come home, but was only left with the sight of his father in his Red Hood suit. Jason was scared that he was going to freak him out, but what he saw surprised him. His son broke out into a huge grin and ran towards Jason jumping on him. "Daddy!" He giggled and reached for his Red Hood masked excitedly which caught Jason off guard as he held his son securely in his grip.
