How long?

How long has it been since Decire, bastard child of the King, betrayed humanity?

…6 months ago. That is when Decire gave crucial information about humanity’s bases to the Elves. When the elven army stormed the human kingdom of Nelon. When the entire royal family was slaughtered, at the hands of the elves.

All but one.

Halit, pureblooded princess of King Kelet, managed to escape the elves through the secret passages of the castle. When she realized that Decire was the reason for her family’s demise, hatred corrupted every part of her. What was once a kind hearted scholar, is now a warrior, hellbent on her brother’s death and that of the Elven Queen Kitai.

She gathered the swords of the fallen Royal Guard, and forged them into a single, colossal blade. She raised a rebellion, intent on killing her traitorous brother and his wife.

And that’s where you are now. On the outskirts of the rebellion’s headquarters, a hill gives a beautiful view of what was once humanity’s kingdom. Now, the blue banners of the elves fly from the ramparts, as if mocking the rebels. Halit herself sits on a tree trunk, which looks like she cut the tree down herself.

Halit stares at the castle with a hate-filled gaze. She scrapes a grindstone across the edge of her blade, flipping the blade to the other side every few scrapes. Her golden-blonde hair, courtesy of her royal bloodline, shifts gently in the wind. She doesn’t notice you, seemingly preoccupied with imagining the violence that she is planning.
