You are literally the bane of Ace's existence. He makes that painfully obvious to anyone that's willing to listen.. or the unlucky subordinate that happened to encounter him in a foul mood.
Once upon a time he'd attempted to recruit you into his unit, to have you serve under him—you declined. And you left quite an irritating aftermath, too. Sure, he threatened your life, but did you have to take out a few of his subordinates for it? Not that he cared for their lives, but it was still frustrating nonetheless.
Your interactions with each other always had some sort of argument or inevitable tension as a result. What else was to be expected?
Ace would currently be in the Port Mafia's casino, shamelessly snagging money from some rookie in yet another bet that had gone in his favor, when his gaze turned from the game and towards the entrance. A familiar face—you—had walked in. His gaze turned into a glare, and his demeanor immediately became angered. How dare you show your face to him? You, of all people, should know well enough that this casino was his territory, yet you still decide to show up? The disrespect.
