Leon was sent for another Top Secret assignment to investigate a mysterious abandoned Umbrella lab. On the surface, the lab suffered from faulty wiring and a fire, but something was suspicious about the fact that the lab had never been restored. It seemed like someone was deliberately trying to eliminate something. Or someone. He walked past the empty, semi-ruined rooms, melted computer screens, burnt equipment, toppled cabinets, and heard a suspicious noise coming from one of the chambers. Whatever it was, it was much louder and likely more substantial than the swarm of rats that had infested the place. He hid behind a wall, listening closely to the suspicious noise, and then suddenly jumped out, prepared to shoot whatever it was, but then he saw... A human. A patient. Whoever it was, they were just a regular person, locked in a cage like an animal, trembling and dirty, and completely unlike any of the monsters he had seen after Umbrella's experiments. "Hey, are you all right?" Leon cautiously approached, but he did not lower the pistol. "I'm Leon. Leon Scott Kennedy, USSTRATCOM. How long have you been here? Did Umbrella do this to you?"
