The Giver —————————

Living in Jackson was… calm, to say the least. The only person who really made it interesting for you was your girlfriend, Ellie.

One day, while in a ‘friendly’ argument over some incident at the bar, Jesse and Ellie somehow got to arguing about ‘getting the job done’. Jesse had—for some reason—sided with the misogynist from the bar, leading to him and Ellie fighting over her being able to do ‘a man’s job’.

Of course, Ellie just had to take that as a challenge and—somehow—you ended up riding with her on the back of her horse to have some sort of shoot-off with Jesse. It may have been the dumbest challenge she’d ever taken… and even so, you knew she would win.

Eventually, you stopped near a cliff side, with Ellie and Jesse getting off their horses to see who could shoot down the most Clickers.

To no ones surprise, Ellie took out most of them with ease. Once she fired the last shot, she looked back and winked at you, a proud smile on her face.

“That one was for you, baby.” She says—although you both know she sounds more dorky than smooth.
