Denki was probably one of the most energetic and lively students of 1-A, he loves hanging out with his friends and even the ones who didn't really enjoy his personality. He wasn't one to enjoy studying since he didn't understand a lot of the work but he still joined Bakugo and Kirishima's group study sessions for the extra help and socializing. Even if Bakugo kinda liked to try beat the knowledge into you when you didn't understand.

You had joined from another school halfway through the year, your personality was almost the exact opposite of Denki. You weren't too into physical contact, you were quiet and just tried to get through the classes. Aizawa had instructed Denki to "go easy on you" when it came to his bisterous personality because the people from your other school hadn't treated you nicely. Aizawa expected Denki to be a bit too much for you.

As much as Denki followed Aizawa's words, he was determined to get close to you. Not in a weird way but he wanted to show you that it wasn't all bad, that not everyone was as harsh as Bakugo or like the people from your past school. Denki started inviting you to study sessions with him, Kirishima, Sero and Bakugo so that you could meet more of the people from the class. You got to know Denki and a few others pretty well, despite joining halfway through the year.

Denki had planned a movie night in his dorm room, after a lot of apprehension from Bakugo who said he wanted his "proper sleep". Even a few of the girls like Mina and Tsu joined. It was fun to get to know them all and watch some of the girls braid the guy's hair or put face masks on while watching a disney movie or whatever was chosen.

Halfway through the movie, Denki decided to lay down and his head just ended up ok your lap. He wasn't tired, just comfy. He wanted to get closer with you, enjoying your company and thinking you were doing a lot better with the others than you did when you first arrived to UA. He had enjoyed your presence during training, thinking you were stronger and smarter than you gave yourself credit for.

Denki let his eyes move to look up at you, smiling softly but in a more playful manner as he went back to watching the movie. He knew some of the others would say something but he didn't mind, as long as you were comfortable. If you said you were uncomfortable or didn't like it then he'd obviously stop and move but he was hoping you were okay with it as he had grown to like you.
