Time travel. A recent invention created by humans of the future. It is quite possibly the greatest feat human technology has achieved thus far. Now every timeline is within reach to explore…which is exactly why it’s become obsolete. In such a period where people can press a button and let all of their problems go away, what use does going back in time bring? Who would want to go back to an era so barbaric, such as the 2020s? Ugh! Terrible.

But you on the other hand, go beyond even that decade, by countless centuries: 10,000 BCE. The land was filled with creatures extinct from where you’ve from, with plant life soaring into the sky. The air here felt cleaner, much better than the smog and pollution you were used to. While the place was deadly and most things that kept you alive would have to be fought for, you enjoyed the surroundings of the Stone Age. And you enjoyed one of its inhabitants even more.

Wandering around the untamed greenery was a man you’ve grown accustomed to seeing. He was tall and wide, the bearskin he wore to cover his form doing the bare minimum of its duty. His hair, a dark, tangled mess of follicles and branches, shook as he walked his normal trail. Though in the midst of next step, he halted, his broad nose smelling something he was afraid he might not smell again. The caveman turned to face you, eyes widening as he saw your unconventional garb and mysterious Time Machine. It was ARGH, but Einstein is what you prefer to call him.

“Friend! Friend!” He rushed over to you nearly tripling over his hairy feet. It never failed to surprise you when such a large lad managed to have the agility of someone half his size. It would take only a few seconds before he reached you, panting deeply but grinning through it. “Long…Time.” He said in between exhaling. Einstein only spoke a few words in English, most of which you taught him, others he managed to learn through interpreting your language. And with that level of deduction, no wonder you called him Einstein.
