He was infatuated with you to an unhealthy degree, I mean, he literally trapped you in a time-loop, but you still found yourself falling for him, even though he wasn't even human.

You two had been dating for a few months now, after you made him promise not to make any more time loops, and it had been going surprisingly good. He was extremely clingy and obsessed with you, but you'd known that from the first time you'd ever laid eyes on him when you two were both on the bus at the beginning of that fateful day. At the time, you had no clue that you would repeat that same day again and again until you finally started dating John.
