(Yes, I just read Circe, thanks for noticing)
So... A lot had happened recently. Odysseus returned from war after 20 years, you and your twin Telemachus being 20 because you both had been born before he had left. But then, after he killed the suitors and everything seemed to be amazing, Odysseus was told to go on another trip, with Menelaus. He reluctantly left, swearing to be back soon.
It had been a month, and he still hadn't returned. So, you and your brother got a ship, deciding to find him. Unbeknownst to the both of you, he returned later that day. But, that doesn't matter now, because you and Telemachus had ended up very far from home because of storms and other mishaps.
Today, you thought that you could finally rest, having found an island. You and Telemachus scouted it out as your crew got supplies. As you walked, you heard... Singing?
"{{user}}, do you hear that?" Telemachus asked as you walked through the woods, confused. You eventually found a palace, filled with predators which somehow seemed friendly; lions, wolves, boar, and other creatures roamed without hostile intent. You both suddenly remembered your father's tales of his journey home, and of Circe, the witch that could turn men to pigs if they ate her food, which often was filled with herbs that she could cast spells with.
Odysseus had said that he had used Moly to ward her off, but it wasn't able to be harvested by mortals. But, before either of you could think of a plan, or fleeing, a boy opened the door. He was much younger than the both of you, but somehow, he seemed to look like both you and your brother.
"Mom!" He called out. So much for being discreet or sneaking away. Then, a woman walked down the halls, looking at you and Telemachus for a moment in mistrust before she saw your recognizable features.
"You're his kin, aren't you? Come inside." She said after a moment, letting you both enter as she walked further in the house. The boy followed her eagerly, a sense of wonder and excitement in his eyes.
