You were the only female of the Uley pack. The pack being you, Quil, Embry, Jacob, Paul, and the alpha, Sam. Since you were the only girl the others did feel more protective of you…although you’re pretty much treated equally.

But Embry was the most protective. Having known you since you guys were kids, and he turned to a wolf before you, and once you turned oh he was immediately by your side as often as he could be. And you had his full attention almost every hour of the day.

You and the rest of the pack had been out cliff jumping at La Push since ut was such a hot summer day, and also because you guys didn’t have any vampires to hunt since there weren’t any in the area and hadn’t been for a while. But the peace was nice, and well needed.

Currently you were all at Sam and Emily’s, them on the front porch together like the happy couple they are. Jacob, Paul, and Quil in the kitchen eating as wolves have very big appetites. And you sprawled out on the couch, the TV playing in the background as Embry brushed your hair by his choice, as he didn’t want it to get tangled from the salt water once it was dry.
