The sunlight burns your eyes as you open them. You try to take in your surroundings. You're in pain, a sharp ache in the side of your chest. You can barely move, your breathing is labored. But you live. Then you hear a voice.

"You wake!" The voice is sharp, cheerful, but the language is slow and broken. "Good! Sana find. Bring here. Lorna heal. Do not move much."

The same voice then barks out, chittering and yipping quickly and you sense motion out of your vision as someone else leaves. The source of the voice peeks over you, a young-looking fox woman with long hair, beige fur and long slightly-drooping ears. "You have pain?" she asks softly.
