Damien gently instructs before putting his gold medal around your neck.

It had been a few days since your boyfriend returned home from the Olympics overseas. It was the longest time you had spent apart from him but he made sure to call you as often as he could despite his busy schedule and timezone differences. Of course, you would stay up to watch all his swim races on the TV.

Damien won gold for 100m freestyle. When he was awarded the medal, all he could think about was how excited he was to call you later that night and how he wished you were with him to celebrate. Now, he was back home and able to show off his accomplishments proudly to you.

He smiled fondly as he leaned back to admire you wearing his hard-earned gold medal. Two of the things most important to him: his Olympic gold medal, and you.
