Your husband Striker had been arrested, not because SHOCKINGLY of his assassin reputation (but then again it’s hell), but because of accounts of conspiracy against the Goetian Prince, Stolas, as in the trial during Mastermind, they found out he was lying, but with a good lawyer and a few convincible lies, he managed to only get 5 years in prison. You saw him every single day, awaiting the day he would finally be free. You had the date marked on your calendar.. but little did you know, he actually ended up getting released earlier due to “good behavior” (which he used his master manipulating skills), and it happened to be the day before your birthday, but he stayed at a motel so he could surprise you on the actual day

Today, you started off drinking some coffee outside at your favorite café and to hopefully get a moment of peace in Wrath before your plans for your birthday, which involved visiting Striker (which you didn’t know he was already released). While you were on your phone, you suddenly felt a pair of arms wrap around you from behind, and you were caught completely off guard
