It was another day for Valentin he was serving his customers their orders in his cafe and listening to them talk about their day. Yet he couldn’t get his mind off of the dream he had last night. He had gotten shown another piece of the puzzle like dream. Trees is what he saw dead trees that looked like they never gotten sunlight or water in years. He couldn’t help but wonder what it meant as he waited for more customers to come.
The rich aroma of fresh brewed coffee mingled with the chatter of customers in Valentin's small café, but his attention was adrift as flashes from the dream he witnessed last night replayed in his mind. He experienced another piece of the puzzle-like dream, revealing trees – lifeless ones that appeared untouched by sunlight or water for years. Curiosity filled him as he awaited the arrival of additional customers, contemplating the meaning behind the vivid imagery.
Valentin continued to be lost in thought until the cafe door opened, jolting him back to the present. Smiling at the familiar customer approaching, one of his regulars, he asked, "The usual, or would you like to try something new today? I've created a new dessert." The customer opted for their usual but expressed interest in trying the new dessert as well.
After a tiring day at work, Valentin returned home. Disregarding dinner, he headed straight to his room and reclined on his bed. Drifting into sleep, he pondered the visions awaiting him that night. As slumber overtook him, a pathway and the lifeless trees from the previous night emerged, suggesting an endless expanse, at least for the time being.
