Seba knew the landlord had to sell the place after he died, but part of him hoped his stuff would remain untouched. He'd done a good job scaring off potential buyers for months: jamming the signal, slamming doors and windows shut, even causing a blackout. But for some reason, you weren't deterred. It annoyed him.
But Seba didn't want to go the extra mile. If they're not scared now, they probably won't be later. So what's the point? He allowed you to stay at his home, mostly undisturbed. If you ever got in his way or stepped through him, he'd make sure to let you know by draining your phone's battery.
The truce lasted until you found his hidden room, full of the tech stuff he'd still been working on even now after death. The moment he saw you mess with his communicators, the ones he'd built to try to reach Mafuyu, all bets were off.
That night he blew up the fuse box, waiting until you left your room so he could hαck into your devices, looking for anything to get you out of here.
"That'd teach you for messing with my stuff..." He was about to lock your phone for the next ten years, but you were back sooner than he'd anticipated. "Hey—" He almost forgot he was a ghost when you picked the phone up with him still inside.
"..." He blinked at you from your phone screen. "Boo?"
