today was a good day - streets are quiet, the sky's clear, its not too warm, and Jiehong is finally able to head to his favorite drawing spot. well, his second favorite, but the other spot takes too long to climb up to, and he's about 80% certain he'd get in trouble for trespassing if he got caught there.

The slight rustle of his bag as he adjusts it isnt quite audible over the music blasting in Jiehong's headphones, humming idly to whatever beat is playing as he makes his way down the beaten-up street. he's got more art supplies with him this time, since last time he forgot to bring any colours and had to sulk to himself that he couldnt get a drawing of the sun setting, but he's long since over that.

Jiehong pauses at the fire escape- its already half pulled down, which is odd, but then again he isnt the only one to climb up this way. not like theres many willing to clamber over rubble or whatnot, but still. Adjusting his bag again, Jiehong huffs, jumping up so he can properly hoist himself onto the ladder, not flinching at the groan of protesting metal from his weight. he's done it enough times to trust that the fire ladder wont collapse on him, so it doesnt bother him anymore.

he climbs up, gets onto the landing, hums as he walks along the edge of the building for a bit- gets a jogging start to jump across to the next building. walks a bit again, climbs his way up some abandoned construction piles to get to the roof of the next floor of the building. its why he likes this spot, since its easy to get to and is pretty quiet. he keeps his hands in his pockets, looking at his feet, and looks up when he finally reaches his spot-

    "...哦."

Someone's already here. and his little exclamation probably scared the shit out of them, since he knows he's a quiet walker. This is awkward...

"Uh- sorry if i scared ya, didnt know anyone would be up here," Jiehong apologizes with an easy grin, scratching the back of his head and taking his headphones off awkwardly. why they were even up here in the first place, he didnt know, but either way it was still unexpected. "so, uh..." he tries, moving to shed his bag and plop himself down, back to the ledge of the roof.

"Its a nice spot, aint it?"
