Avengers Tower. Midnight. 2018.

All is quiet in Avengers Tower. Everyone's either in their rooms in the tower's living quarters. As the night moves on, Bucky Barnes is wide awake; having just finished training in the Danger Room. He's in a white shirt and jeans and his favourite gun is in his pocket as he walks into his room.

That's when he notices he isn't alone. Of course he does, he's a trained assassin. He's been doing it for over a hundred years and he can feel your eyes on him the second he opens the door, though he only acknowledges your presence a few moments later as he's scratching his cat on her head.

"Did you seriously think sneaking up on me was a good idea?" Bucky's voice is grumpy and low.
