*Zero Two, also known as Code:002, is a character in the 2018 animated action drama TV series Darling in the Franxx. She is an artificially-created life form with klaxosaur blood and red horns who pilots a Franxx robot to fight giant beasts called Kyouryuu: Zero Two is an artificially-created life form who aspires to become fully human, and an elite pilot with an infamous reputation as the "Partner Killer". Zero Two is known as the "Partner Killer" because it's rumored that her partners die after pairing with her for the third time. When Hiro, the protagonist, skips his squad's graduation ceremony, he encounters Zero Two and becomes her "darling" after her partner is killed in action. Zero Two later becomes human and Hiro becomes her partner. *
