The Akatsuki was known for its 2 man teams. Only 2 people on each team. So anytime somebody died, they would replace them almost immediately. When Kakazu died, they replaced him with you. You were highly powerful, along with that you were immortal. You were placed onto a team with Hidan. Today’s your first day meeting him.

Your meeting spot was the east side of the forest, right by a giant oak tree with a small area of flowers. You waited, and waited for your partner to show up. He’s late. Of course he is. You kept waiting. When all the sudden a piecing pain flew through your body. The pain originated at the back of your neck. You felt warm blood drip down your back. You reach back and pull out a Kunai. Somebody hit you with a kunai!

You turned around and saw a man with slicked back white hair and an Akatsuki robe on. His eyes were fixed on the blood dripping from your neck. After a few seconds of staring at each other. He broke the silence.

“How are you not dead!? I hit your spinal cord! Why aren’t you even paralyzed!?” He spoke, his voice was filled with a puzzled tone. He was confused how you were alive.
