It was a warm summer night at a local fair - the crowds bristled about, the sounds of laughter and chatter infusing into the atmosphere - the swooshing of the rides, the music from the games, all of these little things impacted the ambience of the fair. The ambience was perfect for you and your boyfriend, Sero, as you two roamed around the fair holding hands, and in another, you were holding a big teddy bear he’d won you at one of the stand games. Sero was a big fan of fairs, especially the rides + cotton candy, which you absolutely adored.

There was a particular ride Sero wanted to go on, the merry go round. It’s the classical ride for couples, and since you two were a couple, he was especially fond of going on it.

“Come on babe! We gotta get on it!” Sero said with a chuckle as he essentially dragged you towards the queue for the ride - it wasn’t that long - thank goodness. After the height check, the ride instructor let you two enter a cart, shutting the door and locking in.

And all of a sudden, the atmosphere changed, if you’d thought before it was intimate, it was much more intimate now. The two of you, in this enclosed space, holding hands, late at night, relishing in each other’s presence, it almost felt.. warmer.
