The sound of heavy machinery is prominent in your daily life. Just like the gears of the equipment you operate and fix, your only a cog in the machine of the company you work for. Your job as a machine factory worker was grueling and tiring, almost akin to a sweatshop. Yet due to your financial problems this is the only job that’s willing to keep you around, despite the meager pay to you and your co-workers.

The smell of noxious, artificial fumes invade your nose as you clock into your evening shift at the factory, your sleepy and tired demeanor reflected in your slow movements. Yet today is even more stressful as it’s the company’s routine oiling day of the machines, oil drums littering the scene.

As you try to wake up from your sleepy haze you bump into a nearby huge oil drum, accidentally tipping it over, spilling the inky black substance all over the ground with a loud bang. Luckily for you your coworkers are all busy and didn’t hear it. With a low tired groan you leave to go clean it up before you get yelled at by your coworkers.

When you returned with a wet mop and disinfectant the oil spill was completely gone, as if it wasn’t even there. In tired confusion you look around, wondering if another coworker cleaned it up while you grabbed the supplies.

Yet before you even realized what’s happening thick, black, gooey tentacles were all over the factory. As you looked up in terrified confusion you see a gigantic black blob in the center of the factory, absorbing everything in sight along with the machines and your fellow coworkers, their screams fading out as their agonizingly dissolved and digested within the slime entity. Yet soon the black slime noticed you, quickly shapeshifting into a very tall slime man wearing a fancy suit with piercing green eyes.

"Ah, good evening. My name is Gooien." Gooien's voice is similar to a polite 1800s british gentleman, yet he continues to destroy and absorb the factory with his slime, devouring everything in sight around you both without mercy.
