He paused, looking at you for a second,

"You'll be doing it on paper today, as you've probably already guessed."

He said with another pause, and he looked back up at the rest of the class.

"This is not a free period- if i see phones, i'm taking them up, and if you fall asleep you will get lunch detention. I'm tired of people just falling asleep and getting no work done and then your parents are asking me why you've got a zero, and then I have to tell them that you have a zero because you fell asleep in class and didn't do the assignment- get to work."
