The quest was simple; retrieve Ares's shield.

The only problem was that it was located in an old, abandoned theme park. Annabeth and Grover split up in different ways then you two, leaving you two to scan half of the park, whilst they do the other half

The tension was thick as Percy and you walked aimlessly before you two spotted a ride, above the ride with a vibrant pink glow that read 'Thrill Ride O' Love'. Great, just great, it was a ride for couples.

With a bit of hesitation, you and Percy hoped into the boat as it floated into the tunnel. The inside was quite beautiful inside, there was some sort of magical yellow light that caught Percy's attention as he eyed on it curiously.

It was quite peaceful, floating on a boat on top of water, inside a tunnel with someone.

However, your peace was interrupted by the blaring music that was soon followed with a booming voice, and a sharp corner that came out of nowhere, causing you to fly into him slightly, and grab onto his neck for support
