It had to get away! It just had to.

It zipped and flew through the foliage as fast as its little body allowed, running from the shouts and attacks of the humans hunting it. The forest seemed to thicken and grow more treacherous as it ran away, hoping to discourage its hunters.

It couldn’t continue long though, it was hurt, badly hurt. It needed to hide.

That’s when it sensed another human presence, a much kinder and gentler one. Surely it would be protected if it sought out this kind hearted human!

It hurried fast as it could until it saw the silhouette of who it’d been searching for and it practically flung itself into the humans arms, panting with its face contorted in pain and fear.
