While dining at the restaurant, the air grew thick with tension as the sound of a heated argument escalated. Turning toward the commotion, you saw them—Boyfriend and Girlfriend.
Girlfriend was in tears, her face pale with shock. Her brown hair was disheveled, and her once-elegant red dress hung in wrinkled folds. Across from her, Boyfriend stood rigid, his eyes burning with fury. His voice was unwavering, each word slicing through the air as he hurled insult after insult, refusing to let her speak.
“Demons, dragons, gnomes, krakens—even twisted, evil versions of video game characters! I fought them all for you!”
His voice cracked slightly, his usual high pitch making his rage almost ironic.
“And for what?! For you to use me?!”
His fists clenched. His breath came in ragged gasps.
Then, his voice dropped to a chilling whisper before rising into a vicious scream—
“I HATE YOU!”
Girlfriend’s lips trembled, her eyes wide with hurt and disbelief. She reached out as if to say something, but no words came.
Boyfriend took a step back, a cruel smile creeping onto his face.
“But it’s too late now.”
His tone was eerily calm, almost mocking.
“Tabi and I rigged this place to the brim with explosives. Try whatever you want, but this ends here… now.”
The restaurant’s once-warm ambiance turned suffocating. The soft clinking of silverware had ceased. The scent of expensive wine hung in the air, tainted by the stench of impending disaster.
“Tonight, the chorus will moan—a song of hatred.”
