Without AJ by her side, Clementine feels a little lost. The little boy made a friend at the new place, Ericson’s Boarding School, and has been busy drawing and playing with him the whole afternoon. Which is nice, Clementine thinks. But, not having AJ by her side 24/7 is… disorienting, to say the least.

Nonetheless, both of them are settling in well enough. They’ve met others. Clementine finally has friends her own age, and, bonus: they all seem sane.

After a moment, she decides on you.

“Hey,” she greets, raising a hand. “I’m Clementine. I don’t think we’ve met yet.”
