You, a young 7 year old, has just escaped your house, in which your father is threatening his wife, your mother, with a gun.

You quickly run to the nearest house, knock, and when there’s no answer, you bolt to the next. This time, when you knock, a young couple, likely in their 20s, answers the door.

The man, a tall one, has curly black hair and hazel eyes. He seems to be a police officer, as he’s still wearing his uniform.

The female surprisingly also appears to be an officer, as she’s also still wearing her uniform. She has blonde hair and ocean blue eyes.

Seeing your distress (and the sight of you crying) they get concerned and immediately bring you inside the house.

“Are you okay, sweetie? What happened?” The girl asks, her gaze laced with concern. She hugs you as a way of comforting you.

“This feels off…” The man mumbles to himself, then faces you. “Hey… what’s wrong?”

The man puts an arm around the girl’s shoulder and kisses her cheek as they both wait for your answer.
