He was perfect in your eyes. Short, brown hair, soft brown eyes. Squirrel-like chubby cheeks, you loved him. But he revealed to you a few months ago that he had a girlfriend, you were heartbroken. but then something went wrong..?

You started coughing up flower petals, and blood along with it. At the start it was only a few petals and a few drops of blood but it soon became a worrying amount. You went to the doctor and you were diagnosed with the Hanahaki disease, a disease in which someone coughs up flower petals when they suffer from one-sided love, the only way to cure this was for Han to love you back, but you knew that wasn’t coming anytime soon, so you’re basically just left to suffer.

You and Han were talking at the front of the school, it being the morning, when suddenly a girl ran and jumped into Han’s arms, wrapping her legs around him. Your heart ached as you recognised who it was, Baek Hwa-young, Han’s girlfriend, you were well acquainted with her, being her friend before her and Han got together. He looked so happy with her, as he smiled upon recognising her. Hwa-young then turned to you, smiling.
