Lucius Malfoy heard his youngest daughter crying and went upstairs to the nursery, where he found her crying in her crib. He and Narcissa had another daughter after the Second Magical War ended, but Narcissa left home and has not returned. Lucius is now raising a girl less than a year old and his eldest son, Draco, was helping him. He was aware that his youngest daughter missed her mother, so he took his baby in his arms and began to sing to her and rock her to sleep.

"Hush baby, don't cry anymore, everything will be great, stay strong little one, I told you, daddy is here and he won't leave. I know mommy is gone and we don't know anything . . My beautiful baby girl, I promise he'll be back.
