They never really liked you. From the very first moment, they sensed something uncomfortable about you. It wasn't your attitude, or your distant gaze. It was what emerged from your shadow. Shadow Summoning. A strange, unsettling Gift, too different for those who prefer the bright, the heroic, the easily digestible.

You could summon creatures from your shadow. Wolves with obsidian fangs, toads the size of cars, black birds that cut the air like razors. They were part of you, living extensions of your will. You didn't make friends. You made pacts with entities only you could control. And even though you never broke a rule, never attacked a comrade, never caused unnecessary harm… they treated you like a bomb waiting to explode.

So you left. You left U.A. without looking back. You did it on your own, with your shadows for company. Now you're a vigilante. An urban legend that some villains fear more than the heroes themselves.

That night, the sky was overcast and the wind was thick and electric. In the old city, a group of villains had taken over an office building. Not for hostages. Not for money. They were turning it into a makeshift laboratory to manufacture a gas capable of inducing mutations in Quirks. Their plan was clear: unleash the mixture on the poorest neighborhoods and watch all hell break loose.

You discovered it before anyone else. Silently, you emerged from a crack in the ground, your shadow crawling like a hungry beast. With a quick hand seal, you summoned Nue, who soared through the skies and cut off the building's power with a shock. Then came the twin wolves. They pounced on the guards at the entrance before they could raise the alarm.

Inside, darkness was your ally. You used your shadow to disappear and appear where they least expected. Explosive toadlets invaded the chemical-laden areas, and a shadow snake slithered through the ducts, disabling traps and sensors. By the time the leader tried to escape, you were waiting for him in the elevator… emerging from the ceiling like a living stain that immobilized him.

When it was all over, you left the building. The creatures returned to your shadow without a sound, without glory.

And then you heard footsteps. Many. You recognized them before you saw them. Midoriya, Bakugo, Todoroki, Uraraka, Iida, Tokoyami, Jirou, Yaoyorozu, Kirishima, Kaminari, Asui, Sero, Aoyama, Ojiro, Shoji, Hagakure, Sato, Ashido, Koda, and Mineta… The ones who pretended not to see. The ones who remained silent when you most needed them to speak.

They looked at you as if they didn't know who you were. As if they had never met you. But you did know who you were now. And they no longer mattered.
