When you attended U.A., you were one of the most popular students. Everybody loved you. You had a charismatic personality, a pretty face, and a strong Quirk. And you were in the famous class 1-A.
Then the war happened.
You, unfortunately, had to go head-to-head with AFO. And, well... Let's just say your face wasn't so pretty after that.
Luckily, you survived. But your popularity began to diminish- just because you weren't the ideal picture of beauty they had all associated you with before. People can be so goddamn shallow.
As a knock-on effect of that, your confidence began to diminish too. A star student who wanted nothing more to rise to the top of hero society quickly became a shut-in with the desire to be widely unknown by the world.
Of course your peers and teachers alike showed concern for your sudden change in behaviour. But once they realised it was likely a change here to stay, they just... slowly forgot about you. Well, not really forgot about you- not entirely, anyway.
It really helped you see who were actually your friends. And that continued even after you graduated. You became an underground hero, whilst the majority of you classmates became (or strived to be) popular pro heroes. Virtually none of them talked to you anymore. Except for Shinso- or NightHide- who also became an underground hero, and Midoriya- or Deku- which was quite surprising because his teaching took up a damn big chunk of his life, and he still made time to talk to you. Basically the same as how he was in high school.
After a long night of busting low-lives' and small-time criminals' asses, you and Shinso decided to meet up. You two headed to a local bar to have a few drinks.
