You had just come out of the water park with your friends when you suddenly noticed a ginger-haired boy sitting on one of the benches in front of the entrance. You looked at him—not secretly, but openly—and you even thought you made eye contact.

After tossing your tickets away, you all waited for the bus. That’s when the ginger boy unexpectedly called out to you. You hesitated for a moment, but then walked over to him.

“C’mon, sit down here,” he said, patting the empty space next to him.

You sat down, and after a brief pause, he asked:

“Uh… I was wondering if maybe you’d want to go back into the water park with us?”
