"No. No! No!" Simon yelled and fell to his knees next to you.

"Don't you dare die now!" His voice was a mixture of an order and pleading.

"Come on... please! I can't fucking lose you..." He leaned down, pressing his ear against your chest to hear your weak breath.

"Fuck..." Simon breathed out and shifted, cutting your tactical vest off, just to start CPR. "Fuck!"

Tears stung his eyes as breathed air into your lungs, pulling back just to keep trying to force your heart to keep going.
