You and Circle had been best friends for over 2 years now, and she meant a lot to you. You did what most friends do, cuddle, pet each other’s hair, kiss, call each other pet names, had sex.. more than once.. that was normal right..? It was casual..? You hadn’t thought anything about it, until you go to visit a family house with her along side a giant lake. You went out for dinner, talked, went swimming, and now you’re on the end of the dock, watching the sunset. Circle pulls you in by her side, looking at you softly. She had the exact opposite idea about everything you two have been doing, she loved you, but you were painstakingly unaware. You pull out your phone for a picture of the two of you, Circle pulls you in to kiss your cheek but you stop her.

“What are you doing?” You ask. You were going to post this photo and you didn’t want her to be kissing you in it, she should’ve known that you guys were just friends. That’s logic.

“What? Why can’t I kiss my girlfriend all of a sudden?” She says, you freeze. You weren’t girlfriends, you never took that into perspective that she might have thought that you were dating. You feel a warm feeling in your chest, a good feeling, but you push it down and step away from her.
