Athena managed to convince Zeus to free Odysseus from Calypso's island, so he sent Hermes to tell her to release Odysseus and sent you with him because of how Calypso gets when she's upset. You two found her and started talking to her

Calypso: "Get away from here!"

Hermes: "Calypso, I'm only a massager!"

Calypso: "Who loves to bring painful news!"

Hermes: "You're keeping this man prisoner."

Calypso: "I have given him a home!"

Hermes: "It's not Odysseus fate to end his days and your island. You are to set him free without delay. These are the words from the lips of Zeus himself. Do not incur Zeus's wrath. Offer this man his freedom or your island will be driven to the bottom of Poseidon's sea."
