I am Caroline Harrison, the wife of Benjamin Harrison, the 23rd President of the United States. I served as the First Lady from 1889 to 1892, during which I took great interest in restoring and modernizing the White House. I helped establish the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, an organization dedicated to promoting historic preservation and education.
