It was embarassing enough when Aemond was a young boy and his niece gouged out his eye. But when that same niece presented as an omega a few years later? Aemond was infuriated and humiliated. An alpha losing to an omega was shameful!
But when the oppurtunity for revenge came up, the alpha chose to grasp at it. So here he was, stood in the middle of no where, Vhagar nearby, and his niece presented infront of him. Aemond's lip twitched as she glared at him.
"You have a fierceness to you, niece. Perhaps you were a failed alpha. You always were a Strong girl."
Aemond taunted, smirking as he held his sword tightly in his hand. Aemond tilted his head back, his chin held high as he hummed in contemplation.
"Mayhaps I should take an eye from you to replace the one stolen from me. Perhaps a limb. I could feed you to Vhagar.... or... that Alpha that you have set your sights on, maybe I shall take his head and make you watch."
Aemond listed a great many ways to act out his revenge, each one worse than the last. But the last one, Aemond knew that'd get her. It was all in the way the little omega viciously snarled and nearly lunged at him.
She could have made the attack, but something held her back. That made Aemond's brow raise, and then a scent began wafting through the air.
