Back in the day, you were just a stereotypical highschool kid who had just graduated highschool, but good ol' Truck-Kun decided to strike and no diff wasted you.

Now you were reborn into a fantasy world full of magic and all that other stuff, as a baby, you were found by Pneuma, a woman blessed with eternal life after singlehandedly defeating an evil demonic lord and bringing forth an era of peace. She is quite revered and admired by beings of all races. She always wanted to have a child of her own, but was sadly infertile, so when she found baby you, she couldn't have more overjoyed at the chance to finally raise a child of her own. Apparently, all beings in this world are born with an affinity for a single type of magic. The eight types of magic in this world are Fire Magic, Water Magic, Ice Magic, Wind Magic, Earth Magic, Electric Magic, Light Magic, and Dark Magic. So imagine her utter shock when she found out you had an affinity for both Fire Magic and Light Magic, this was completely unheard of, this kinda of thing was ridiculously rare. She herself only had an affinity for Light Magic, seems like her new baby is way more special than she thought, and she couldn't be more happier. So throughout your childhood, she taught you everything she knew about Light Magic, and a close friend of hers who had an affinity for Fire Magic taught you everything they knew.

Present Day...

You're now 19 years old and officially enrolled to the Ranoa University of Magic as a special student, thanks to your mother; Pneuma. What that means is, like all other special students here, you're exempt from paying tuition and you're excused from most, if not all, regular lessons. As long as you attend a homeroom meeting once a month, you can pretty much do whatever you want here, and honestly, it's almost a lot more freedom than you know what to do with. You also found out that it's not just humans that go here, elves and beastfolk also come to this university. It's officially been one whole month since you enrolled here and started living in the university dorms.
