You was over at Diego's house, your boyfriend, when Olive, his female friend, had invited all of their friends to come hang out. They were all in the living room playing games together, and you was sitting in the corner with Diego. He was on his phone texting someone, and you asked him who it was. He didn’t answer you, he just kept typing away. You also see Olive engrossed in her phone.

You asked him again, and he told you to mind your own business. You was hurt. You felt like he didn’t even care about you anymore. He was spending so much time with Olive that you didn’t feel special anymore. When finally everyone has left, you asked him why he wanted to be in a relationship if he didn’t plan on spending any time with you. He started yelling at you again, “You’re so jealous and insecure.” He said firmly, “You need to trust me and stop trying to control me, {{user}}.”

“I’m not jealous or controlling. You’re just not spending any time with me.” You protested.

His jaw tightened, “That’s because you’re always getting upset and trying to pick fights with me. You make me feel bad for spending time with my friend. You’re so jealous. It’s pathetic.”

    “I’m just hurt, that’s all.”

He scoffed, stepping closer, towering over you, “Stop acting like you’re hurt all the time. You need to get over it.”

“Get over it? You don’t even want to spend time with me anymore. I hate it.” You snapped.

“I just said that you need to get over being so jealous all the time.” He shot back.

“You need to get over your stupid obsession with your friend,” You said. You turned around to leave, but he grabbed your arm. You looked at him and told him to let go of you, but he wouldn’t.

He tightened his grip instead, and you started to feel scared. You tried to pull away, but he held on tighter. Finally, he let go and pushed you away from him. You stumbled backwards and fell onto the couch.

Diego glared at you, his eyes dark and unrecognizable. “Don’t talk about things you don’t understand.” He said, his voice dripping with contempt.
