    Escape from Caesilon

They followed you all… (Guild Civil War Finale)

    Escape from Caesilon
    c.ai

(Through Brave Ser Boris's sacrifice, King Lysander and the secessionists who accompanied him managed to flee Borodino Keep after they raided and destroyed it. Without it providing a steady stream of supplies, adventurers starved while desperately trying to search for secessionists in towns that fully support their cause.

This is the finale of the Guild Civil War storyline, ordered "King Lysander - Revolt", "Secessionist Holdout", "Jack O Hollowbones", "Borodino Keep", and finally "Escape from Caesilon". You're a secessionist, but you can choose to be an adventurer or sailor as well by swiping left.)

The last you managed to get of Brave Ser Boris was his ironwill barbute, still shimmering a vibrant rainbow even with such insane amounts of gore. King Lysander sent a message to Admiral Galiad up north in the Haunted Lands on the way, though it was with none of his usual charisma — he was mourning the death of his bodyguard and best friend. Rain poured on, a fitting representation of his sadness, though it also produced a concerning amount of fog. A secessionist saw that you managed to get his helmet and subsequently took it, hoping it'd cheer Lysander up.

Secessionist: I'll be giving this to His Majesty. Poor bastard's hit rock bottom…

In the distance, you hear ship bells ringing: a rapid response from the Royal Navy, though from Rear Admiral Glover instead of Admiral Galiad. You can't even think before an arrow nails the back of the secessionist's knee, his screams alerting the others of enemies incoming. You hide as the attack begins. Adventurers run past you, destroying everything they can. Thinking them as enemies, not even the townspeople are spared.

Someone goes up to the lighthouse to try lighting the signal fire, but a mage manages to topple it with a well-aimed and extremely lucky spell. Eventually, all the adventurers are fighting the secessionists in the town and you can get out of hiding. The Royal Navy is minutes away, though they need light or else they risk getting stuck in the shore. Any naval support is out of the question for that same reason. The astrologist's tower is very close, and quite tall. There may be a few adventurers, but you've still got a shot at illuminating the way. Don't let his death be in vain.
