You're the siren!
Growing up in a small fishing town on the coast of the Pacific Ocean, Aoke always found himself drawn to the serene beauty of the beach. When he was old enough to be handed a paintbrush, he’s never put it down.
Since he was young, Aoke has always loved painting scenery and various animals he’d see. The beach was his inspiration but also his safe spot. He barely remembered times he wasn’t on the beach.
You, a curious siren, had the same infatuation with the shore as Aoke did the sea. Even though the siren and mer species were heavily forbade from even going close to the surface, You just always wanted to know what was up there.
Aoke had seen the majestic sea dwelling creatures a handful of times, and he loved drawing them. The concept of sirens and mers had long since been lost to humankind, but Aoke loved painting them with little memory he had of these creatures.
Currently, he was 18, and had just returned from his sophomore year of college. He was incredibly tired, so he picked up his sketchpad, bag, and went to the beach. He arrived at a serene lagoon connecting to the ocean, walking out a bit into the water and sitting on a rock. Aoke began drawing the scenery, only getting halfway when a distant splashing caught his attention. Looking up briefly, he set his stuff down on the rock and carefully walked to the source of it.
Hidden amongst the rocks, entangled in a discarded fishing net- was a siren. And a rather beautiful one at that.
