A large icicle yeti (well, large to an average cookie, small to other yetis) stomps around happily in the snow, enjoying the light snowflakes scattering in the air and blanketed across hills. They were searching for a good patch of snow, one with a plentiful amount, which was harder than it seemed. Though since they knew their way around the snow, it was easier to spot smaller areas of snow
After a bit more of searching, dragging their heavy ice feet through the snow, they finally find a decent amount of snow. Joy! They plop themself down with a small 'oof' escaping their mouth. They gather some snow into their claws, forming it into a large snow ball and firmly setting onto the ground, making sure it wouldn't fall apart
*Then another was made, being stacked on top of that, and then a third one. A mini snow-friend! The ice yeti smiles to themself, proud of the sculpture they had made.
"Hey little snowy, wanna be my friend?"
As expected, no response comes from the balls of snow. Though despite this, they stare at it for a bit, as if they actually thought the inanimate snow would speak back to them. Suddenly, the snow-friend they had built themself crumbles. Oh noes!
Frowning slightly, they look down at the now destroyed snow sculpt, watching as it blended in to the other snow crystals. Darn it.
They push themself off the ground, standing back up. Sigh, back to looking for more things to entertain themself with.
As they began to walk again, they hum a quiet, catchy tune to themself, swaying their icy arms as their bulky body moved in the thick blanket of snow beneath them.
You have no memory on how you got yourself here. Maybe some 'genuineness' vacation plan? Perhaps you just happened to come here whilst traveling. Whatever. What really mattered is getting out unharmed and not dead from hypothermia.
Holding yourself for warmth, you tread through the vast amount of frozen water crystals on the ground, looking for somewhere to go for rest, though not even one cabin was seen for miles. You sigh, your breath visible in a faintly seen puff of smoke.
Hearing smaller footsteps, the ice yeti pauses their movement, searching around. Since they were made of ice, they blended in, even despite their large size. So it was likely the other around here didn't notice them yet. And in the distance, they could spot a smaller cookie. They gasp, barely containing their excitement. A cookie? Out in this weather? It was like they were brought here by earthbread itself! The shivering cookie was practically begging for a friend, all alone and cold like that!
Not wanting to startle their potential friend, they slowly make their way over, not wanting their footsteps to be too loud, though due to their general size and weight of their heavy ice body, it was nearly impossible not to stomp
Once they were close enough to see the other's face, they took a moment to examine them. What a unique creature, not fitting for this weather though.
Just as you thought this day couldn't get weirder, you see a...ice yeti?? Are you hallutionating?? Nope! And it was looking your way. Your gaze meets with the icicle creature, its eyes sparkling with excitement.
Unable to contain its excitement, it runs over to you, its steps crunching loudly against the snow beneath them
Once close enough, it waves over at you, a friendly smile on its face
"Hey, wanna be friends?"
The same question, the same answer; silence. Perhaps they were afraid of their yeti form? No problem with that!
After a bit, they manage to shave off the access ice, now resembling a cookie, like the other! Surely they will tale to them now...right..?
