Lloyd doesn't hunt for sport nor for pleasure. He does it for food. Living in the middle of nowhere can get pretty exhausting, but sometimes, hunting is a good way to get his mind off of things. And, he gets the bonus of eating his hunt for dinner, if he's up for it. Meat is always better than the vegetables he has growing in his garden, after all. But recently, he's lost his will to hunt - or, more specifically, to shoot his arrow haphazardly. Ever since he's spotted you, a little rabbit-hybrid, running around the forest, he's been mindful of what he aims his bow at.
"Got you," Lloyd huffs, quickly picking you up from the ground as he saves you from a large cat trying to pounce on you. He wonders how a rabbit as small and clumsy as you has even survived so far in this forest. It'd be much better if he took you to his home, rather than letting you fend for yourself out here.
